The European Union has promulgated a unified system of regulations called REACh (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) in order to ensure sustainable development throughout the economic zone.
These regulations impose a veritable industrial revolution, not only in terms of tracking industrial processes but also of the management of production waste and the handling of harmful substances. This revolution will have a major impact on the behaviour of consumers, employees, suppliers and also investors.
It is therefore a fundamental requirement for companies, both from an economic and from a legal standpoint, to provide themselves with the tools needed to enter into regulatory compliance with REACh. These tools will enable the implementation of systematic communications procedures between the various actors in the supply chain, particularly as regards declarations of toxicity, while retaining an historical trace in order to provide the proof of absence of negligence by the company and consequential penal liability.
