Would you answer True or False to the following statements? Find the correct answers below.
1. Only permanent and active faculty members appear in the Faculty Roster.

FALSE. The Faculty Roster now includes access to all faculty members, regardless of type (permanent, adjunct, applicant, etc.), whether active or not.
Below the search bar, two checkboxes are available:
- A checkbox labeled “Active only” allows you to display only faculty members whose status is currently ACTIVE (based on the fac_active field). Faculty who were active in the past or will be active in the future will be excluded from the search results.
- A checkbox labeled “Extend search to any type of teacher” allows you to extend the search to faculty members who are registered for the future.
⚠️ Please note: This second checkbox is only available in version 6.1, released in November 2024.
If you are using an earlier version and would like to enable this feature, please contact our team via Redmine. We’ll be happy to install it in your environment.
2. AACSB reports can only be generated over a 5-year period.

FALSE. It is now possible to export AACSB reports over 5 or 6 years.
When configuring the report, check the box “Extend over 6 years” if needed.
This update aligns with the exceptional changes introduced in the latest AACSB standards in 2020, which allow a 6-year cycle upon request for certain defined situations.
This applies to reports 8.1 and 9.1 in ACADEM.
3. In ACADEM version 6.1, it is no longer possible to export the CONTACT table.

TRUE. The CONTACT data table is no longer available for export in this new version.
It has been replaced by the PERSON table, which includes all individuals added to the database who are not faculty members.
This change allowed us to develop a new feature to merge duplicate persons in the database.
